This research group is interdisciplinary and consists of nurses, psychologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals. The group’s research focuses on using internet-based CBT tools and digital support to develop care and support programs that promote both the mental and physical health of patients with chronic somatic diseases and their relatives. The research also aims to investigate factors within the organization, such as healthcare staff and decision-makers, that are important for the implementation of digital interventions in healthcare.
The group works systematically and research-based to develop and evaluate internet-based CBT programs as well as other forms of digital support, using both qualitative and quantitative descriptive and experimental study designs.

Goal: To develop digital care methods for education and support for patients with chronic somatic diseases, with or without mental health issues, to enable them to live a good life in the presence of the disease.
