Young adults

Health

Adolescence is characterized as a period with rapid physical, social and psychological development. Lifestyle behaviours established during this period determines health outcomes also in adult life. Interventions to promote healthy behaviours among young adults is hence a good investment.

In this project we will develop, evaluate and implement mHealth interventions aimed to improve lifestyle behaviours among high school and university students. The interventions will be developed upon input from panel evaluations, usability tests and focus groups with potential users, e. g. high school and university students with different cultural background, age and gender.

Randomized controlled trials will be conducted for each student group in order to assess the effects of the interventions. The projects have been initiated during 2019/2020 and participants will be recruited from high schools and universities across Sweden
