Under Horizon 2020, the EU’s framework programme for research and innovation, nearly SEK 800 billion was awarded to researchers. At Linköping University, 117 projects received funding – grants that have made several research breakthroughs possible.

The Grantee Celebration Event is an initiative in which Linköping University congratulates LiU researchers who have recently been awarded prestigious research grants. It is intended to become an annual event – one that inspires young researchers.

During the Swedish Society of Aeronautics and Astronautics’ annual meeting in 2022, Svjetlana Stekovic was awarded the diploma “Female role model of the year in aeronautics” for her work in aeronautics.
