Babak Bakhit, a former PhD at Thin Film Physics Division at IFM, has been awarded the prestigious International Postdoc Grant from Swedish Research Council (VR).

The European Space Agency is launching their Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (JUICE). On the spacecraft, plasma probes made at LiU will investigate the ice on moons orbiting Jupiter.

Babak Bakhit has received the gold Graduate Student Award at the 47th International Conference on Metallurgical Coatings and Thin Films (ICMCTF), 2021.
