This course is for nurses who care for elderly people with psychological problems.

The primary content of the course involves improving your skills in caring for elderly individuals with psychological problems. The main problems are depression, anxiety and psychosis as viewed from the perspective of medical and care science We also emphasise ethical issues, along with the role of nurses in caring for those who have psychological problems.

The foundation of the course is problem-based learning, which focuses on your particular needs. Instruction is structured to stimulate and support your development of professional skills and independence. Lectures alternate with small group projects under the supervision of the instructor.
