Postgraduate education in pedagogy aims to both broaden and deepen students’ knowledge of the field and to equip students for an independent career in research and education. This includes the ability to independently design and implement research, to disseminate the findings nationally and internationally, and within both academic and non-academic sectors. The postgraduate degree program comprises 240 credits, of which 150 is for dissertation work and 90 for the course modules.
Pedagogical research covers many areas, examining individuals and groups of different ages and across different societal contexts. Since it plays such an important role in people’s lives, understanding working life is also an important pedagogical focus.
