Assistant Professor

Entrepreneurship has an important role increasing growth, sustainability and profitability. In my research, I am interested in how entrepreneurship within an organization, intrapreneurship, can be facilitated.

Intrapreneurship as an engine of corporate renewal

Intrapreneurship, entrepreneurship within existing organizations, has an important role in solving today's complex societal challenges. Intrapreneurship is often an unutilized engine finding new solutions for organizations that lead to growth, sustainability and profitability.

My research is about intrapreneurship and individuals, intrapreneurs, who take responsibility for and drive new ideas and solutions within the organizations where they work. Examples of questions I am researching: How can existing organizations and corporations improve their innovation capacity with intrapreneurship? What happens within an organization or a company when an individual employee has a new idea or solution? What support is needed internally to discover and support an intrapreneur? What role do intrapreneurs play in creating sustainable solutions that reduce environmental impact? Can everyone become an intrapreneur?
I teach project management, organization, entrepreneurship, innovation and idea development, mostly at the Faculty of Technology.

Research

Teaching

As a person, I am interested in pedagogy and especially pedagogy that deals with learning processes and the different learning styles.

On this theme, I am working, among other things, on developing podcasts with course material for students. I often base my teaching on what is called "challenge-based learning", i.e. challenge-driven learning. It is fun to work with teaching and lead students forward in their knowledge development processes.

Some of the courses I am responsible for or teach are:

ETES40 Innovation och entreprenörskap
TEIO32 Project Management and Organization
TEIO04 Project Management
TEIO94 Entrepreneurship and Idea Development
TEIO06 Innovativt entreprenörskap
TEIO98 Entrepreneurship and idea development in a service-based sector
