Large scale digital alcohol intervention - TOPHAT5
In this project I have taken the lead on designing and developing a large digital alcohol intervention. The project aims to develop and estimate the effectiveness of a personalised alcohol intervention. The bespoke intervention is targeting individual’s personal dimensions of behaviour in respect of their underlying motives for drinking alcohol but also for how ready they are for making a change in behaviour. The intervention is informed by the theories of ‘Stages of change’ and ‘Drinking Motives’. I am also working on secondary analyses of other health behaviour interventions, specifically assessing mediation and individualised effects, whilst also qualitatively exploring how participants in the interventions approach changing their behaviour.
