Erasmus+ is the EU's program for international exchanges and collaborations, and for Linköping University (LiU), participation in the program is an important part of the university's internationalization work. As Erasmus Institutional Coordinator, I am responsible for LiU's overall participation in the Erasmus program and am LiU's contact person towards the Swedish Council for Higher Education. I am responsible for the mobility part of Erasmus+, which includes framework applications, reporting and budget work. I am also responsible for disseminating information about the program and representing LiU in local and national networks. I work to develop opportunities for international collaborations and mobility in accordance with the program in collaboration with faculties and departments. The role also includes monitoring the world and being aware of what is happening in the area at both local, national and European levels. An important part of my duties is also to drive the work of implementing the commitments and priorities within the Erasmus+ program.
