My main interest lies in the circulatory changes and blood flow in the preterm child, with a special interest in transitional physiology and the persistent ductus arteriosus (PDA). I want to study both the global and the local changes of circulation and the effects on brain and development by combining common practice modalities, such as Echocardiography/UCG, with a novel technique in the neonatal setting, 4D- Magnetic Resonance Imaging/4D-MRI.
