My research focuses on how nutrition, physical activity, and exercise affect health and performance in various populations, from the elderly to elite athletes.

Presentation

I am a lecturer in exercise and nutritional physiology and a member of the research group NICE (Nutrition In Clinical research & Epidemiology). My research focuses on how nutrition, physical activity, and exercise affect health (i.e. body composition, mobility, and cognition) and performance (i.e. strength and endurance) in various populations, from the elderly to elite athletes.

I am also active within the Swedish Association for Physical Activity and Sports Medicine (SFAIM) and have many years of experience collaborating with companies, government agencies, and the sports sector to optimize nutrition, exercise, and recovery.

I teach nutrition and exercise physiology in various educational programs at the Faculty of Medicine. A key motivation for me is to translate new research into practical applications that benefit both individuals and society.
