Presentation

I have a PhD in Translation Studies from the University of Oslo (Norway), which I obtained in March 2013 thanks to my research within the Spanish section at the Department of Literature, Area Studies and European Languages. In my doctoral dissertation I analysed how Ingmar Bergman was introduced in Franco´s Spain during the 1960s, drawing from the assumption that film translation in that period was a type of ideological rewriting influenced by censorship. The Francoist dubbings were analysed in contrast with other rewritings from the same period, such as film reviews, censorship documents, etc.

I have taught Spanish Grammar at the University of Oslo (2013) and the University of Gothenburg (Sweden) (2014). In August 2014 I was hired by the University of Linköping (Sweden) as Senior Lecturer in Spanish with focus on Linguistics.
