In this talk, Professor Roger A Søraa, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, provides insight from a large European project on AI in recruitment settings asking how fairness is conceptualised by humans and machines. How does AI understand personal parameters, historical discrimination, and how can it be used for good when recruiting?
