The Internet, Health and Clinical Psychology Research Group
The research group works with many different areas such as anxiety, depression and health problems. Many of the projects work with internet-based CBT, and the group carries out randomised controlled clinical trials.

Mental ill-health is a huge problem in Sweden – and the world. It afflicts individuals directly, but also societies, in the form of increased costs. New solutions are needed – and some of the answers can be found on the web.

He studies how to treat loneliness – with online therapy
Some 5% of the Swedish population report that they feel alone – often or always. Doctoral student and LiU graduate Anton Käll is studying methods used in internet-based cognitive behavioural therapy for helping people with loneliness.

Gerhard Andersson committed to LiU
Professor Gerhard Andersson is psychologist and psychotherapist and one of the most cited researchers in the world. He is now associated with the Department of Biomedical and Clinical Sciences at LiU. Thus, he has left Karolinska Institutet.
