Our overall vision is that Linköping University is to be “a university of international standing – where people and ideas converge and develop”. Studenthuset is a step towards this vision, ready for its opening and inauguration in the autumn of 2019. A house of opportunity, with space for study, work and new ideas. A place where students, researchers and teachers meet.

We celebrate the opening of Studenthuset with a full festival week. The week will commence with an impressive opening ceremony on 30 August and conclude with Kalas at Campus Valla on 5 September. The programme for the week is packed with inspiring, informative and playful activities.

The Kalas event is the peak finale of all the welcome activities LiU offers new students. Experience the event, meet new friends, and visit many exciting companies and student clubs and societies!

DigiMaker

DigiMaker is the Library’s creative space for learning and testing technologies, techniques and methods. We offer equipment such as 3D printers, sewing machines, and recording equipment for creating videos and podcasts. And much more.
