Presentation

As Head of the Local IT Support Unit (NITS), I lead operational work covering the entire lifecycle of the university’s hardware and software – including procurement, installation, asset management, support, and decommissioning. Our mission is centered on accessibility and proximity – we are the IT support that is present where the need arises.

I also serve as process owner for the coordination of cloud services at the university. This involves managing reviews and decision-making documentation in collaboration with the IT Security Group, the Data Protection Group, and the Records and Archives Unit. The goal is to ensure that cloud services used at LiU are secure, legally compliant, and properly procured.

In addition, I provide IT-related support in procurement processes. I contribute with requirements definition, information classification, supplier assessments, and other technical evaluations for procurements involving systems and services with IT components. A key element of this work is the university’s IT security requirements catalogue, which I help develop and maintain.
