I serve as Adjunct Professor at Linköping University. I also provide tailored, impact-driven research and policy support. My background includes over a decade with a global medical device manufacturer, along with significant experience at United Nations agencies, including the World Health Organization.
Trained as a clinical audiologist in Canada, I practised in Australia and earned my PhD from the University of Queensland, where I focused on engaging adults in their hearing care. I also hold a Masters of Public Health with distinction from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine.
I am Associate Editor of the peer-reviewed International Journal of Audiology, a Lead Collaborator on the Global Burden of Disease study, and a Member of the International Collegium of Rehabilitative Audiology. I have authored over 75 influential peer-reviewed publications.
My interests span global health, public health, health policy, access to healthcare and assistive technology, disability inclusion, evidence-based practices, and clinical epidemiology.
