My research focuses on optimizing photon-countning CT imaging techniques for both quantitative and qualitative measurements and interpretations. This work is carried out in collaboration with radiographers, radiologists, and other scientists.

Researcher in medical physics

My research interests lie in medical imaging using X-ray-based equipment, including:

  • Photon-counting CT, conventional CT, cone-beam CT, interventional systems, and planar X-ray
  • Image optimization
  • Quantitative and qualitative methods for both patient diagnostics and equipment quality control
  • Dosimetry
