She is also director of undergraduate studies and deputy head of the division. Camilla holds a master's degree in cognitive science from Linköping University in 2003, and a doctorate in human-computer interaction from Uppsala University in 2007. She has worked at Linköping University since 2007, as an Associate Professor since 2013.

Research

The main focus of Camilla's research is research in visualization and user-centered evaluation. One focus area is the development and validation of new evaluation methodology and its applications in visualization. Another focus area is user-centered evaluation of visual methods for high-dimensional data, primarily in information visualization and evaluation of multimodal interaction. Camilla also works with evaluation in areas such as medical visualization and haptics.

Teaching

Camilla teaches courses at the programme in Media Technology and Engineering (MT), and also at the bachelor’s programme in Graphic Design and Communication (GDK). She is course responsible for the courses Communication and User Interfaces and Structured Methods for User Experience (UX).
