Adjunct Professor

My research primarily focuses on vascular surgery, specifically peripheral arterial disease. A new project will evaluate lifestyle interventions and optimal preventive drug treatments. Supervising PhD students is also an important part.

Presentation

Additional research is carried out within the areas of health economics, health care management and innovation in life science.

Previous and current teaching assignments are at undergraduate level, staff in hospitals and pharma companies. Examples of covered topics are "vascular surgery, "epidemiology, "leadership", "healthcare administration" and valuation of start-up companies in life science.

Examples of societal collaborations are, apart from what was mentioned before, and with various academic institutions, also as mentorship in NOME (NovoNordisk Stiftelsen's Mentor's network), where assignments include personal advice to start-up companies within Life Science in the Nordics. The more active work consists of roles as a board member in such companies
