Lecturer

Teacher of electrical engineering courses with a focus on electronics for electrification. Additionally, Director of Studies for ITN's courses in electrical engineering, physics, and chemistry in the FEM and LOE divisions.

Presentation

Kjell Karlsson has been employed at Linköping University since 1999. The first few years as a research engineer and since 2012 as a university lecturer in electrical engineering.

In addition to his role as a teacher, Kjell serves as Director of Studies for both the Physics and Electronics unit (FE) in the Division of Physics, Electronics and Mathematics (FEM) and the Laboratory of Organic Electronics (LOE). 

Kjell holds two degrees from Linköping University, Campus Norrköping: 
  • 2012 - Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • 2000 - Bachelor of Science in Computer and Electrical Engineering, specializing in Electric Power and Control Engineering

If you are studying to become a Master of Science in Engineering at Campus Norrköping, particularly in the Master of Science in Electronics Design Engineering (ED), you will encounter Kjell in various electrical engineering courses in analog electronics, applied power electronics, circuit theory, modeling and simulation, and automatic control.

Other assignments and engagements

At the program level, Kjell is a member of the program planning group for the Master of Science in Electronics Design Engineering (ED). This program planning group belongs to the Program Board for Electrical Engineering, Physics, and Mathematics (EF) at the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Additionally, Kjell has an assignment within the Program Board for Chemistry, Biology, and Biotechnology (KB) to work on overarching issues for the two Foundation Years at the Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Since 2013, Kjell has been actively involved in the union organizations Engineers of Sweden and Saco-S at Linköping University.
