The thesis project looks at internet use and participation in everyday activities by young people with intellectual disabilities. To explore this the use of different methods, including observations and interviews supported by alternative communication, is needed. The research is based both on the individual’s own perception and on the perspectives of families and professionals on the individual’s internet use and participation.
Teaching in Occupational therapy
The work as a teacher is at the Occupational Therapy programme (first cycle) and in Occupational therapy (second cycle). Teaching appointments:
- Group tutor on (inter alia) semester 2 of the first cycle, where the main focus is on interprofessional development for future professional practice. I also teach professional approaches on the second cycle.
- Group tutor in integrated teaching modules based on interprofessional learning at the Faculty for Medicine and Health Sciences.
- Supervisor of first-cycle degree projects.
