Lovisa Österlund

Bibliometric Analyst

Presentation

My main task is to provide bibliometric analyses of different units at the university, in addition to assist in the interpretation of these and provide suggestions for a publication strategy.

Besides more traditional bibliometric indicators, I also analyse open access publishing and mentions in other types of media – altmetrics.
The data I collect about the university’s publications, their metadata, is of course useful for other purposes than bibliometrics. In my work, I use such metadata in our internal systems at the library, as well as in different projects, for example visualizing different aspects of research.
