Department for Publishing Infrastructure (PI)

Employees at the Department for Publishing Infrastructure work with library systems and research support, such as the publication and dissemination of research publications.

PI provides the library's search service (UniSearch) and the publishing platform DiVA. Linköping University Electronic Press (LiU E-Press) is also part of the department's area of responsibility. PI is responsible for the publisher's website.

In addition, PI coordinates the library's work with cataloguing and metadata, bibliometrics, and digital tools and methods.

Bibliometrics at LiU

Bibliometrics involves quantitative studies of scientific publications and measures, for example, productivity and impact. The library delivers publication statistics for LiU and assists departments and research groups with bibliometric analyses.

DigiMaker

DigiMaker is the library’s combined Digital Lab and Makerspace. We offer introductions and equipment related to digital storytelling, virtual reality (VR), 3D-printing/CAD, classroom simulation and digital scholarship.
