Research

Haemostasis Research Group in Linköping

We study regulation of platelet activation and interaction with coagulation from biochemistry and genes to clinical studies on antithrombotic drugs in cardiovascular diseases and how covid-19 causes thrombosis. We also develop new diagnostic methods.

Unit of Internal Medicine

We conduct research and teaching within different areas related to internal medicine such as endocrinology, nephrology, chest medicine, gastroenterology/ hepatology and coagulation disorders.

The division consists of three units (internal medicine, cardiovascular and radiological sciences) and contains seven subject areas within which research and teaching are conducted.
