I am a doctoral student at ORH/HMV, participating in a research project within the Integrated Care graduate school. My doctoral research focuses on e-health and heart failure, a condition that is both globally prevalent and financially burdensome, characterized by a substantial symptom burden and frequent hospitalizations.
The primary objective of my dissertation is to gain insights into the effective management of heart failure patients through the application of e-health technology in primary care settings. I aim to identify the challenges faced by primary care professionals in delivering care to this patient population. Additionally, I will explore the barriers encountered and evaluate the effectiveness of a novel heart failure care model that incorporates innovative technologies, specifically ReDS, within primary care environments.
