My research is focused on forensic biology and DNA profiling, with a special interest in body fluid localization and its recovery for subsequent analysis. Major aims are to gain knowledge to improve existing methods or develop/adapt new methodology. This in order to enable DNA profiling of minutes amounts of traces deposited on a variety of more or less complex substrates in the event of crime.
