To see is to believe!
Vesa Loitto
Head of Division, Principal Research Engineer
My main assignment concerns research infrastructure and above all microscopy. With the right tools, science can make great leaps, but being part of the joy of discovery expressed by the discoverer, gives me the greatest gratification.
Seeing is believing!
In Life Sciences, microscopy has always been a faithful companion.
In the world of research, many tools exist and are needed, and today's research has become instrumentally very demanding, the equipment gets increasingly advanced. Different techniques and methodologies come and go. New ones are developed and others fall into oblivion. However, of all the instruments in the research toolbox, the microscope is a faithful companion, and probably the most satisfying. The microscope has constantly followed the life sciences and other research disciplines. Of course, microscopy has also developed and become more advanced, but the basis is the same.
To see is to believe!
To see is to believe!
About me
My research concerned the molecular mechanisms of cell motility.
