As a language teacher, I believe in creating an encouraging environment where students learn through communication and engagement, both with me and each other. I love teaching and enjoy learning with my students, as the Chinese idiom says: 教学相长.

Teacher on courses in Chinese

I teach a range of courses in Chinese for students in the Industrial Engineering and Management program, and Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering program. This includes everything from courses in practical language use for beginners, to advanced courses focusing on professional communication in speaking and writing.

I also teach some of our online courses in Chinese for professional purposes, including a beginner course and a continuation course in oral language proficiency, and a summer course in Chinese for business purposes. If you are interested in any of these courses, you are welcome to contact me!

Language for specific purpose is a division at the Department of Management and Engineering. We offer courses in French, German, Spanish, English, Japanese and Chinese. The courses are aimed at intercultural communication.
