I study adolescent social networks with a focus on how friendships, relationships with parents and teachers, and classroom norms influence bullying and victimization. My research investigates the social and moral processes underlying these behaviors, with particular attention to group dynamics and social influence.
Currently, I am part of a project that tracks how bullying behaviors, moral disengagement, and friendship networks co-develop among Swedish adolescents. Using longitudinal social network analysis, I examine how these patterns change over time and vary across different classroom contexts. This approach helps identify critical windows for intervention and understand how social contexts shape individual behavior.
I welcome collaborations with researchers, educators, and policymakers working on: Bullying prevention and intervention, social network analysis in educational settings, and adolescent mental health and well-being.
