The symposium gathered 70 participants from 11 different countries. Hudiksvall is a hub for the fluid power industry in northern Sweden, and the conference was jointly organized by Linköping University and the Hudiksvall Hydraulics Cluster (HHK).
The program was comprehensive, and the conference was very well received by all participants, featuring inspiring presentations, relevant exhibitions, as well as interesting industrial visits and excursions. The conference was embedded in the industrial landscape, offering ample opportunities for industrial visits and an exhibition at the conference venue.
The symposium provided a unique platform for PhD students from around the world to present their research in fluid power technology and receive invaluable feedback from esteemed academics, industry professionals, and fellow researchers. A notable highlight of this year's symposium was that accepted papers would be published in a dedicated book by Springer Nature, a leading global publisher of scientific content. This publication offers a fantastic opportunity to increase the visibility and impact of the research, and the book will be open access.
