Green transition of working life
This study, part of the research program GROWL, focuses on how different industries are working to achieve a green transition. Those invited to participate are either training for or working in these industries.
Information about participation in the project
Participation in the study involves answering a survey with questions related to various aspects of the green transition, work environment, climate, and green transition in private and professional life, as well as meaningfulness, life priorities, and health. The results will hopefully lead to increased knowledge about the green transition in working life. The results will not be traceable to you as an individual. Your participation is voluntary, and you can choose to withdraw at any time. Withdrawing will not affect your work situation. If you choose not to participate or wish to withdraw, you do not need to provide a reason.
Your responses and results will be handled in a way that prevents unauthorized access. Linköping University is responsible for your personal data. Under the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access the data about you that is being processed in the study, free of charge, and have any errors corrected if necessary. You can also request that data about you be deleted and that the processing of your personal data be restricted. If you wish to access the data, contact the responsible researchers (see contact information below). The Data Protection Officer can be reached at dataskyddsombud@liu.se. If you are dissatisfied with how your personal data is being handled, you have the right to file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection, which is the supervisory authority.
The research institution responsible for the project is Linköping University. A research institution is the organization responsible for the study. We have obtained contact information for potential participants via educational providers and employers after an ethical review. The Ethical Review Authority has approved the research program (Dnr 2023-06097-01).
How are your responses and personal data handled?
Participation in the study means answering a survey, and therefore we will also register your personal data in a registry established for the study (a code list and a separate data file with survey responses). All information is protected in accordance with the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act (2009:400). Personal data will be stored according to the university's standard procedures, regulated by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2018:218). All research materials (data files and code keys) will be stored securely, locked in fireproof and theft-proof spaces, on password-protected researchers' computers, and on an encrypted server that unauthorized individuals cannot access, as well as on a locked physical medium (USB or similar). The code key with identifying information will be stored separately from the data material. The data will be kept for 10 years after the research project concludes to allow for review.Your responses and results will be handled in a way that prevents unauthorized access.
