Nonlinear Potential Theory
The research group is mainly interested in analysis on metric spaces, and in particular nonlinear potential theory associated with p-harmonic functions and quasiminimizers in Euclidean and metric spaces.
3rd Workshop on Scientific Computing in Sweden.
16-18 September 2020, Motala, Sweden. The workshop will serve as a forum for researchers and teachers in Scientific Computing to exchange new results, discuss education, expand research networks and strengthen collaboration.
Noncommutative Riemannian Geometry
The research group is focused on questions related to metric aspects of noncommutative geometry, such as Levi-Civita connections and curvature, mainly from the viewpoint of (twisted) derivation based calculi.
Algebra and representation theory
The members of the group work within the fields of representation theory of associative algebras and Lie algebras, and non-associative algebras.
Mathematics and algorithms for intelligent decision-making
On the journey towards sustainability, our contribution is to develop mathematical models and solution methods for practically relevant but computationally challenging problems in scheduling and resource allocation.
Seminars in Mathematical Statistics
The seminars are organised by the Department of Mathematics and form part of the seminar series "Seminars in Statistics and Mathematical Statistics". The topic is probability theory, random processes, statistical theory, and applied statistics.
Graph Theory
The research group in graph theory at Linköping University is primarily interested in classic graph theory with a particular focus on graph coloring and Hamiltonian graph theory.
