We were delighted to welcome Professor Lucy Suchman from Lancaster University as our distinguished guest for the Tema T Exchange 2018.

An annual high profile event at which scholars of international renown are invited to debate issues of public concern.

Professor Don Ihde from Stony Brook University. He discussed with the Tema T interlocutors Dr Erik Malmqvist, Dr Kristin Zeiler, and Dr Teun Zuiderent-Jerak under the title “Technologies, Practices, Ethics: Getting Involved”.

Thomas Eriksen is a social anthropologist well known for his many outstanding contributions to fields of research including identity, nationalism, globalisation and identity politics.

The research group Values organized (Re)assessing impact: a conference about interventions, experiments and entanglements. It gathered scholars engaged in questioning the ubiquitous and equivalent notions of research impact and intervention.

Issues of identity and belonging are longstanding topics of considerable public concern, coming into focus in the light of widespread mass migration. This year we welcome Amade M’charek at the Tema T Exchange on November 13.
