Teaching assistants/Amanuenses in Engineering Materials

We are looking for 1-4 student research assistants (amanuenser), who, if necessary and by agreement, will assist course coordinators in their teaching of engineering materials. The tasks can involve lesson teaching, lab supervision, correction of reports.
The person we need
Qualified for employment as a student research assistant is only those who are admitted to education at the undergraduate or advanced level.
The employment is directly linked to the basic courses for which the division of Engineering materials is responsible.
It is considered an advantage if you are studying at Linköping University at an advanced level and that you can demonstrate documented good knowledge in the areas you are expected to teach in. Furthermore, it is especially an advantage if you have experience of previous teaching, as well as being available for assignments throughout 2026.
The tasks are varied and can arise at short notice, which requires flexibility and that you are available at the university. You must also be responsible, thorough, service-oriented, have pedagogical skills and be interested in each subject area.
The workplace
The Division of Engineering Materials is in the technical faculty's management and engineering (IEI). The Division of Engineering Materials has multiple teaching activities connected to several different engineering programs at Linköping university.
The employment
The appointment time and starting date are determined by agreement.
Salary and employment benefits
Salary according to LiU's central agreement on teaching assistant salaries. The salary is hourly paid.
