Library services in distance education

As a LiU student in distance education, you can use the digital library to find and read electronic books and articles. If you live in Sweden, we can send print books to your home address.

The digital library is available to you from your home desk

Through the library search service UniSearch you can access a wide collection of electronic articles and books.

Use your LiU-ID to read/borrow e-books and e-journals or use our databases.

If you have any questions about library services and information seeking you can chat with a librarian online or send us an e-mail.

Borrowing printed books when taking part in distance education

If you are a LiU-student in distance education you may get library books from LiU library sent home by registering for this service.

Contact the library via email to do this. Attach a copy of a document showing you have been admitted and have registered for your courses in a distance education at LiU. See the Distance education webpage

To use this service you must live in Sweden but not in Linköping or Norrköping.

You, yourself, must pay for the postage when returning the book, using the address sent with the book.

You are responsible for the loan until it has been registered as returned in the library system.
