As a LiU student in distance education, you can access electronic books and articles with your LiU-ID. If you live in Sweden, we can send print books from the library to your home address.

Access e-resources from your home desk

Through the library search service UniSearch you can access a wide collection of electronic articles and books. Use your LiU-ID to access e-books and e-journals or use our databases.

Borrowing print books when taking part in distance education

If you are a LiU student in distance education you may get library books from LiU library sent home by registering for this service.

Contact us via email and attach a copy of a document showing you have been admitted and have registered for your courses in distance education at LiU. See the Distance education webpage

To use this service you must live in Sweden but not in Linköping or Norrköping.

Returning your loans

You, yourself, must pay for the postage when returning the book, using the address sent with the book. You are responsible for the loan until it has been registered as returned in the library system.
