Research
In my research, I have mainly studied local development and growth policy, public health policy and emergency preparedness policy. These are all examples of issues that overlap with other policy areas. When this type of policy is to be organised and – so to speak – put into practice, a number of problems often arise.I am keen to understand these issues so that, in the future, we can organise policy more effectively.
From 2024 to 2026, I will primarily be conducting research as part of the project ‘A Holistic Approach and Organisational Fragmentation in the Governance of Local Public Health Work’, funded by Forte.

Teaching
I teach courses on Swedish politics and public administration and supervise dissertations at various levels.I am also the Programme Director for Political Science. In this role, I work on overarching issues relating to the Political Science programme. The Political Science programme comprises single-module courses, the Bachelor’s programme in Political Science and the subject’s two Master’s programmes.
