The vice-chancellor and the university management lead operations at Linköping University.
The University Board is the highest decision-making body at the university. It is responsible to the government for ensuring that Linköping University meets its objectives.
The university directors’ management group uses its expertise to support the vice-chancellor and the university director in an active manner as they lead and guide Linköping University.
Professional and appropriate administrative support is a fundamental requirement for Linköping University to achieve its goals. University Services (UF) supports the university’s principal operations: education, research and collaboration.

Anna Thörn is to be the new University Director at LiU. She is currently regional administrative director of Region Dalarna and has previously held several management positions in Östergötland, including as municipal director in Norrköping.
