The IKOS Finance Team consists of Controllers, Financial Officers, and Coordinators. Together with the Administrative Staff, we support Division Heads, their Directors of Studies, and their various Research Leaders.
As a team, we believe in the power of collaboration. By coaching, consulting, and assisting one another, we ensure high quality and cost-effectiveness in our work. We provide financial reports and related services to researchers, and safeguard LiU’s regulatory compliance in the financial area. We strive to develop new solutions that reduce bureaucracy and streamline our financial processes.
My Role, Networks and Goals
As a controller, I mainly work with financial matters from a strategic perspective at an institutional level. I am part of the institutional management team and am responsible for coordinating IKOS’s internal financial processes.
In my role, a major part of the ongoing work consists of financial analyses, investigations, and preparing decision-making materials. I am also responsible for preparing budgets and financial statements, materials for resource and cost allocation, forecasts, developing working methods/routines, and acting as an advisor for financial matters.
I strive to work proactively and focus on finding solutions to provide good conditions for sustainable planning and early actions where necessary.
