Information for co-workers

You can activate your account and set your password before your employment starts and you should also activate two-step verification on your account. Two-step verification means that you confirm your login using the Microsoft Authenticator mobile app when you are off campus.

Two steps that you can perform now:

  1. Activate your LiU account and set a password via MinIT: minit.liu.se/account After you have finished this step, you need to wait 15 minutes for the account to be set up in LiU's system before proceeding to step 2.
  2. Set up two-step verification on your account by following this manual for guidance.
    If you go through with this step before getting a work mobile, you can install the app on your personal mobile phone. Once you have your work mobile phone, set up two-step verification on it as well. Important: do not remove the LiU account in Microsoft Authenticator from your personal phone until you have added it to a new device.

Then you are done!

Now you can, for example, check your email and access information on the Liunet intranet.
