We would like to talk to people from different generations about their experiences, views and opinions on the topics of solidarity, generations and crises.
Who are we looking for?
Individuals from different generations who:
- was living in Sweden throughout the COVID-19 pandemic
- speak and understand Swedish well
- are 16 years of age or older.
If you are interested to take part in our study, please register via the registration form. After registration you will get personal information about our research project. If you would like to participate, we will discuss the time and location for the focus group with you.
How are focus groups in the FuturISE project arranged?
The focus groups will be moderated with approximately 6-8 participants and will last around 2 hours on average. The focus groups are scheduled to begin in November 2025.
The purpose of the focus groups is to gain an in-depth understanding of how different age groups perceive and experience intergenerational solidarity in the context of the pandemic, and to examine how they assess its significance for future crises.
What will FuturISE do with the data?
The data collected will be analysed from an ethical perspective. We then compare the results with data from Sweden and the UK and contribute them to the public debate. In this way, with your help, we can shape a good intergenerational future in Europe.
