Within the research field ”Shoulder problems – assessment, treatment and outcome measures” at Linköping University, several studies in the area of physiotherapy is on-going and performed in close co-operation with primary health care and orthopedics.
In order to validate outcome measurements for screening or evaluation relevant to patients with shoulder problems several studies are in progress. Different analysis based on clinical cohort-data and the variables of interest are e.g. pain, shoulder function and self-efficacy. Another aim is to diagnose and identify different sub-groups based on clinical presentation and treatment efficacy.
