The research is focused on issues of welfare and social change, public health, psychosocial factors and health.
The program is an EU-funded joint doctoral program between:
- Linköping University;
- L ' Ecoles des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales (Paris),
- Universidade de Evora and Universidade Nova de Lisboa (Portugal).
In addition to the courses, seminars and tutorials at the main university all postgraduate students spend a mobility semester at one of the other partner universities. During the first year two joint courses are organized for all students in the program, to give a deeper understanding of the broad research area. During the year two the students are offered 3-6 month internship/fieldwork.
The PhD program is aimed at both Swedish and international applicants. The working languages are English, French or Portuguese/Spanish.
Because the program will be completed in 2019 no new applicants are admitted.
