Doctoral programme

The doctoral programme in language and culture is multi- and interdisciplinary. It comprises 90 ECTs of courses and a doctoral dissertation of 150 ECTs.

The programme takes in the following three perspectives as its point of departure: a culture and media analytical perspective, a literature analytical perspective and a language and interaction analytical perspective. The doctoral programme is run within the research environment Language and Culture which spans the subjects general linguistics, comparative literature and different languages including English, Modern Languages (e.g. French, German, Spanish), Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language.
