Potential of electric busses as mobile monitors for air quality, temperature, and greenhouse gases in urban environments

We bring together an interdisciplinary team with expertise in data fusing, sensors, and IoT systems together researchers from environmental and citizen science, to establish the potential of measurements on electric busses for environmental monitoring purposes.
oing this would require a comprehensive assessment of long-term measurements of air-quality in terms of, temperature, carbon dioxide and methane, inside and outside of the bus, allowing us to:

▪ Assess the accuracy and feasibility of continuous measurements/monitoring of environmental pa-rameters on electric busses

▪ Characterize the interplay of indoor and outdoor air quality in busses,

▪ Explore the role cabin air quality and comfort to travelers’ behaviour
