For some library services, a fee is charged. The prices charged by Linköping University Library way vary according to user category. See the list of prices for different users below.

* As a student at LiU, you are not charged for article copies from Linköping University Library's print collections, if delivered from the library's closed stacks ("Bokladan"), or from one LiU library to another.

*** To use this service, you have to be registered as a student in distance education at LiU and have your place of residence in Sweden, but not in the municipalities of Linköping or Norrköping.

Student at Linköping University

Printers available in the library are part of the university's common printing system. For LiU students, all printing and copying in the library is operated with a LiU-card  connected to a printing account. Current prices and other information about printing for students are available at Liunet Student (sign in with LiU-ID required).

Material not included in our collections can be requested through Interlibrary Loan or purchase suggestion by LiU students and employees.

Apply for library card

Linköping University Library is open to the public. Members of the public can obtain a library card by filling in an application and then picking up the card at one of our libraries. The same procedure applies to Region Östergötland employees.
