Each year Linköping University (LiU) welcomes around one thousand exchange students.

Your guide to the future

Linköping University will never rest on its laurels. In close collaboration with the business world and society, we conduct world-leading, boundary-crossing research in fields including materials science, IT and hearing. In the same spirit, we offer many innovative educational programmes, many of them with a clear vocational focus, leading to qualification as, for example, doctors, teachers, economists and engineers.

How to be nominated

If you would like to study at Linköping University as an exchange student, your home university must have signed a formal exchange agreement with LiU. Contact the coordinator at your home university to learn if such an agreement exists, and if you can be nominated as an exchange student.

Autumn semester: 15 April

Deadlines for applications

Spring semester: 15 October (for exchange studies for one semester)
Autumn semester: 15 April (for exchange studies for one semester or studies lasting the full academic year)

LiU Summer Academy

If you want to study at LiU during the summer, LiU can offer a fantastic opportunity through the LiU Summer Academy! During four weeks, you will study with students from all over the world at Campus Valla, Linköping. There are several courses to choose from.

When you are about to arrive at LiU
