Alumni insights

LiU Alumnus from the Experimental and Industrial Biosciences Bachelor's Programme at Linköping University.“One of the best aspect of Linköping University’s programme in Biomedicine is the close contact with the teachers. As experts in their fields they provided an exciting insight into the research done at the university. The close collaboration with the teachers really taught us how to work within a research group and how to grow as students and take the responsibility needed to become an independent researcher. If I were to pick my most memorable course from the programme it would be my bachelor project. I had so much fun and it gave me the confidence to pursue a career in academia. To work in a research group and get the support to learn the whole process – from forming the research question to the thesis and presentation – was such an amazing experience.”

LiU Alumnus from the Experimental and Industrial Biosciences Bachelor's Programme at Linköping University.

“Linköping University offered a programme focused towards research which is really what I was looking for. The programme has gathered everything I’m interested in, from Life Science to development and business management. The interaction with different innovators and the practical and theoretical knowledge in how you take a product from idea to a potential product, and how to plan and manage the project is something that feels useful both in research and within the industry. The teachers were really invested in our education and took on a role more like that of a mentor that really wanted to help us succeed in our studies. During my years at the Medical Biosciences programme, I really got to achieve something I’m proud of.”
