Driver Training in Practice
This project approaches driver training from a multimodal interactional perspective.
Detailed video analyses of traffic-based interaction between driver training students and instructors identify linguistic and other resources used by participants, both to operate the vehicle and to handle this as an opportunity for teaching and learning. The project seeks to contribute new practice-based knowledge about driver training and driving practice as well as their role in the formation of young drivers.
