Ghassan Guorgis

I am a PhD student since 2014, researching the prevention and diagnosis of skin cancer in primary care, which is of great importance for the future care of this growing group of patients.

Diagnosis and Prevention of skin cancer in primary care

I have two published studies, one is about the Sustainable effect of individualized sun protection advice on sun protection behavior, a 10-year follow-up of a randomized controlled study in primary care.

The second is about the risk of developing skin cancer in patients with actinic keratoses compared to people who have not had that diagnosis.

My 2 upcoming studies will be about actinic keratoses and comorbidity as a risk factor for skin cancer development (registry study), and which predictive factors in addition to the known ones may be important for skin cancer development (journal review).
